Last week Seb, Nimrod and myself rolled out with a plan to go film some clips at Legacy. We showed up at Legs and it was windy as usual. The park wasn't too busy, but there was enough bikers and kids in the bowl to make us think twice about getting clips. Seb wasn't feeling the vib so he just chilled on the benches with some homies. After a while we decided to bounce to Barrhaven for some mini ramp action. This was the best idea ever. A lot of people have dumped on the new Barrhaven park, but the mini ramp, smooth ground and rocks make it a fun place to just skate and have a few laughs. It might not be as good as the old park, but it has a lot to offer.
We showed up and jumped right into the ramp. After getting loose, we busted out the cam and got straight to being stupid. Seb was learning new shit he wasn't even trying, Nimrod was going hard in the bails, and I did a spontaneous weird jazzpush thing that made us laugh out loud. We were so pumped we decided to session the two stair, then the rock pile. We were having so much fun the 5-0 decided to stop by the park and see what was up. They found some empty beer cans, a DVS hat and a cooler on the mini ramp. They hassled a few skaters, but were hypnotized by our calm demeanor, so they moved on. Clearly we were not the droids they were looking for. They did however keep the DVS hat and the cooler.
